Last Week’s Expos

Before we learn more about EdOpt from podcasts, here’s a brief summary of our 2 expos last week. A varied set of education providers were present at each, representing preschool, homeschool, activities and camps, private schools, religious schools, EFAs, and more. Attendees were engaged. Lots of networking happened.

These are the providers who were there. I hope I didn’t miss anyone!

We’re still not getting as many attendees as we would like, despite our social media presence, local signs, and handing out flyers.

To reach more people, we need your help. Last year, more than half of the families in the US considered alternatives to public schools. But they think their only alternatives are to: (1) Send their kids to private schools, which they can’t afford, or (2) Homeschool, but they think they have to do it all on their own.

Help EdOpt reach these families and help them understand what their options really are. Share our posts with your friends and on social media. Tell people about us and about our expos

Finally, the podcasts. EdOpt’s president, Jody Underwood, was a guest on two podcasts this week. She talked about Education Options and things related to education. Check them out.

EdOpt’s Goals

EdOpt’s aim is to help families understand all their education options, from non-traditional (homeschooling, homeschool co-ops, microschools) to traditional (charter schools, private schools, tech centers, dual enrollment, learn everywhere). Our website lists the education providers options around the state that we know about (please let us know if we’re missing any!) so you can investigate the ones that you’re interested in. EdOpt also provides guidance to help you understand your options. Set up an Education Options consultation today.
