One World Language School

One World Language school has offered in-school programs in New Hampshire at Portsmouth, Exeter, Rye, Madbury, Newcastle, Kittery and more. We offer after-school language programs in both Madbury and Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

We have offered German, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, and French for more than two decades.

Our curriculum from PreK - 8th grade follows a “natural approach” to language teaching much like when we first acquired our primary language. This involves a lot of language exposure and repetition in a variety of ways in the initial stages of language learning. We use immersion in our puppet skits. The puppets speak only in the target language. It is natural for students not to understand every word, but through the use of visuals, context, body language, and facial expression meaning is transmitted. Colorful visuals and manipulatives are used to capture the students’ attention. The participatory nature of our skits, allows students to remain engaged in the learning process as they begin the process of language acquisition through repeated language exposure.

These years are formative for young minds that are the most open to learning new things. Our programs help schools address social justice and inclusion and make better global citizens out of your children.
