👩🏻‍💻Demo: Find activities near you

Screenshot of EdOpt map showing categories and EFA providers in NH.

A mom in the NH EFA Home Educators Facebook group recently asked where she could find physical activities for her two homeschooled girls somewhere between Hillsboro and Concord. There were a few responses, which looked helpful.

This is exactly the type of thing EdOpt supports. I quickly found 19 possible activities on our website in that area — quite a few more than were suggested in the FB group. Some were actually recommended in that group. EdOpt doesn’t have all the Education Freedom Account (EFA) providers on there (yet!), but we have many.

This search was filtered for “homeschool activities” between Hillsboro and Concord. Click on it to take you to that search, with results, on the EdOpt.org map page. You can always change the filters from there to find what you actually want.

This video demonstrates how to use the EdOpt.org provider map filters and how to zoom into the map to find activities interesting to you.

The EFA Home Educators Facebook group was created specifically for homeschoolers who use EFAs, as the name implies. Many of the questions are about navigating the EFA process, but there are also questions about home schooling.

So, go to the EdOpt provider map to find a list of activities and schools near you. Then take advantage of that Facebook group to get recommendations from people who may have already used them.

Seems like win/win.

Media Appearances

Learn more about EdOpt through our media appearances. These are interviews or presentations that were recorded. Some are videos, and some are audio from radio shows.

EdOpt Fair Schedule

Look for our EdOpt Fairs during National School Choice Week, the last week of January 2026. Our current plan is to have them in Manchester, Dummer, and Claremont.

We’re also starting to plan for the spring. Look for fairs in Nashua, Moultonborough, and other places. Let us know if you want to organize one in your area!

Let your friends know about these fairs. Word of mouth is the best way to advertise. Follow us and share our events and posts on Facebook, too.

EdOpt’s Goals

EdOpt’s aim is to help families understand all their education options, from non-traditional (homeschooling, homeschool co-ops, microschools) to traditional (charter schools, private schools, tech centers, dual enrollment, learn everywhere). Our website lists the education providers options around the state that we know about (please let us know if we’re missing any!) so you can investigate the ones that you’re interested in. EdOpt also provides guidance to help you understand your options. Set up a FREE Education Options consultation today.
