Introducing the Choosing School Podcast
Every family wants the same thing: an education that truly fits their child. But figuring out what that looks likeβand what options even existβmight seem difficult.
Thatβs why weβre excited to introduce the Choosing School Podcast.
In this new series, we talk directly with parents about the education choices theyβve made for their children. No marketing. No theory. Just real families sharing their experiencesβthe challenges, the surprises, and the lessons they learned along the way.
Our hope is simple: when families hear the stories of other parents, it becomes easier to imagine what might work for their own children.
Episode 1: The Many Paths of Homeschooling
Homeschooling is often talked about as if itβs one thing. In reality, it can look very different from family to family.
In our first episode, several parents share how homeschooling works in their homes. Some use Education Freedom Accounts (EFAs), while others homeschool independently; Some participate in co-ops or learning communities, and others build learning experiences in different ways; Some started in public schools before choosing homeschooling, and some went in and out of brick and mortar schools.
What emerges from the conversation is something many families discover: there isnβt just one way to homeschool. There are many pathsβand each family finds their own.
If youβve ever wondered what homeschooling really looks like day to day, or why families choose it, this episode offers a thoughtful and honest glimpse.
And whether you homeschool, use EFAs, attend a charter school, or choose something else entirely, the goal of this podcast is the same as EdOptβs mission: helping families understand the many ways children can learn and thrive.
We hope youβll listenβand maybe even see a possibility you hadnβt considered before.
Enjoy the first episode of the Choosing School Podcast: The Many Paths of Homeschooling.
