Listen to Jody on Freedom to Learn podcast
Jody Underwood talked about EdOpt on the Freedom to Learn podcast on June 12.
New Hampshire is now the 17th state to offer education freedom accounts (EFA) to all K-12 students, regardless of their family income. Jody discusses how her organization helps New Hampshire families navigate their growing options. She shares insights from her time on the school board and explains the state’s options, including town tuitioning, Education Freedom Accounts, tax credit scholarships, and the Learn Everywhere program.
This is a short 1-minute video taken from the larger interview.
Here’s the half hour recording.
New EdOpt Expo!
Hot off the press! We will be holding an EdOpt Expo in Brentwood on July 8 from 5-7 PM. Thanks to Rep. Melissa Litchfield for organizing it. Register today as an education provider (to save your spot) or attendee (so you can get reminders).

Want an expo in your area? We haven’t had an expo in the southwest corner of the state yet, so if you’re in the Keene area, let us know. Reply to this email or contact us if you want to organize an expo anywhere in New Hampshire!
EdOpt’s Goals
EdOpt’s aim is to help families understand all their education options, from non-traditional (homeschooling, homeschool co-ops, microschools) to traditional (charter schools, private schools, tech centers, dual enrollment, learn everywhere). Our website lists the education providers options around the state that we know about (please let us know if we’re missing any!) so you can investigate the ones that you’re interested in. EdOpt also provides guidance to help you understand your options. Set up an Education Options consultation today.
