Videos to Introduce Education Providers

You can now see videos that introduce education providers on our website! There are only a few so far, and they’re mostly in the Upper Valley area, which we used to advertise our expo which is happening this Weds 6/11 (see below for more details about the expo).

We invite all education providers who already have a presence on Edopt.org to send me links to your short YouTube videos, or send me a short video that we can put on your EdOpt page. Ideally, your videos will be under 1 minute. We can only use YouTube videos or your created videos at this point.

If your organization/group does not yet have a presence the Edopt.org provider map, you can do it now! We have close to 1000 education providers around New Hampshire already, and want to keep growing so families can see all their options. For now, enter your youtube link in the Description or let us know that you have a video to use.

Coming up this week! For further excitement, there may be a protest at the Wolfeboro expo by people who want district public schools to be the only “choice” for families.

  1. Wolfeboro Expo: Tuesday June 10, 4-6pm, Wolfeboro Public Library, 259 South Main Street.
  2. Upper Valley Expo: Wednesday June 11, 4-6pm, Mount Royal Academy, 26 Seven Hearths Lane, Sunapee, NH.

EdOpt’s Goals

EdOpt’s aim is to help families understand all their education options, from non-traditional (homeschooling, homeschool co-ops, microschools) to traditional (charter schools, private schools, tech centers, dual enrollment, learn everywhere). Our website lists the education providers options around the state that we know about (please let us know if we’re missing any!) so you can investigate the ones that you’re interested in.
