North Country Education Expo a Success!

We welcomed 11 education providers to this expo on Weds Dec 4, with about an equal number of families showed up. Kids of all ages decorated cookies (which were delicious!) to give them something to do while their parents talked to the various providers.

All the visitors learned something new, and everyone had a good time. Lots of networking happened across the board.

Providers included: Epic Christian Academy, Forensics 4 Kids, Heartwood Charter School, Iron Mike’s Forge, Lancaster Area Homeschoolers, Littleton Studio School, NH Homeschooling Coalition, North Country Charter Academy, White Mountain Community College, and Woodland Community School. The Department of Education was also present, to share information about their alternative pathways programs and Education Freedom Accounts.

For those who couldn’t make it (and even those who could), please check out EdOpt.org to see what education options there are in your area. And look out for the expos we’re hosting next week in Manchester and Peterborough!

Many thanks to Amy Badurina, Valerie Kihslinger, and Staci Webb for organizing it!

Please support our expos and our mission by making a small (or large!) donation. We are aiming to improve our website to make it easier to find providers in your area. Thank you!
