With our EdOpt Fair taking place in Candia on Monday October 27 (see details below!), I thought I’d highlight learning centers in the nearby region.
If you don’t know what a learning center is, you can find a definition on our website:
Learning Centers. Also called micro schools, learning clubs, learning coops, and learning pods. Learning centers can take various forms – they might be drop-off centers where students go for part of the day to learn specific subjects or skills, microschool-like programs that operate full-time with small enrollment, or tutoring and enrichment hubs. These centers provide a more flexible or specialized environment for learning, often catering to families seeking alternatives to traditional schools. EdOpt supports families and aspiring education entrepreneurs to set up a Learning Center or Micro School.
Below is a short video highlighting these learning centers on our website. It starts in Find Your Options for Learning Centers.
Zoom into the part of the map you’re interested in. When a number in a blue circle shows up, that means there is more than one provider in that area. Click on the circle to zoom in more. Clicking on a pin in the map will pop up information about that provider.
A list of the visible providers appear to the right. In the case below, there are more providers than fit on a single screen (15!). Scroll down to find one you’re interested in. Clicking on a provider will open a page to see more information, including their website, contact information, and a description.
Of course, you can filter for any provider type you’re interested in and play with it yourself!

EdOpt’s Goals
EdOpt’s aim is to help families understand all their education options, from non-traditional (homeschooling, homeschool co-ops, microschools) to traditional (charter schools, private schools, tech centers, dual enrollment, learn everywhere). Our website lists the education providers options around the state that we know about (please let us know if we’re missing any!) so you can investigate the ones that you’re interested in. EdOpt also provides guidance to help you understand your options. Set up an Education Options consultation today.
